Frank J. Napfel III

Frank Napfel is the founder of Castle Security Group. He was a Supervisor with the Baltimore City Police Department prior to entering the private sector. He also served on the adjunct faculty of the University of Baltimore, after receiving his Master's degree in the field of Criminal Justice from that institution in 1977. Frank is a past President of the Maryland Investigators & Security Association, and a former director of the Maryland Association of Contract Guard Agencies. He is also a member of the American Society for Industrial Security. Frank has been declared an expert by the courts in Public Safety and Security as well as Corporate and Industrial Security. He is currently on the adjunct faculty at the Community College of Baltimore County.

 

David Buck

David Buck has been President of Castle Security Group since 1999. He is a graduate of Towson State University with a degree in business management. David has held various management positions with Marriott Corporation, Kraft Foodservice and prior to joining Castle Security Group, was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Honor Foods in Philadelphia, PA. David currently serves as Vice President of the Maryland Investigators and Security Association.

 

Jack Long, Jr.

Jack Long is The Director of Investigations for Castle Security Group. Jack retired at the rank of Major from the Baltimore City Police Department. During his twenty years of service, Jack worked in uniformed patrol, plain-clothes, bike patrol and homicide. He was a Detective-Lieutenant in the Northern Division, responsible for overseeing the investigation of robberies, shootings and burglaries. Jack's final assignment was in the Southern District where he was District Commander with responsibility for all policing activity in the District.

 

Paul K. Bressler III

Paul Bressler has been a full-time investigator since 1991. His areas of expertise include in-depth background and locate investigations, along with surveillance. Paul has worked both as an undercover and street investigator and has worked on an international level. Paul has been awarded an Honorary Gold Record by the Recording Industry Association of America for his efforts to combat sound recording piracy.

 

Jerry A. Van Der Meulen

Jerry Van Der Meulen joined Castle Security Group after retiring from the Baltimore City Police Department at the rank of Lieutenant. During his thirty-five years of service, Jerry has coordinated the operations of the drug squad, flex squad and the foot patrol units with a primary focus on street-level drug and gang investigations. Jerry’s responsibilities also included coordinating security with the United States Secret Service for the President, Vice President and the First Lady during local visits.
